The Fay J. Lindner Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities is a comprehensive outpatient assessment and treatment program providing state-of-the-art clinical care to individuals with ASD across their lifespan. The Fay J. Lindner Center’s mission is to be a National Center of Excellence in the areas of:

  • Clinical Service: Comprehensive Assessment and Treatment
  • Clinical Research and Scholarship
  • Specialized Program Consultation
  • Professional Training
  • Community Education and Resource Information
  • Advocacy

Our focus is in the development and implementation of comprehensive assessments and the continuum of services for children and adults with autism and related developmental disabilities, their families, and the professionals who support them.

Three Reasons to Give

  • One in every 88 children born today will be diagnosed with some form of autism.

  • The Lindner Center's interdisciplinary team which includes, physicians, psychologists, and speech and language therapists, work together to provide an integrated approach to assessment, treatment and ongoing consultation.

  • The Lindner Center is working to educate, increase awareness and provide needed services and support to children, adults, and their families impacted by autism.

   

New York State Mandatory Training

NYSED 3 Hour Mandatory Training

The Fay J. Lindner Center for Autism is a NYSED approved provider of the three-hour mandatory autism training for special education teachers and administrators. Certifications of Completion will be provided to all registrants successfully completing the three hour course.

GROUP MEMBERS ARE WINNERS!

Fay J. Lindner Center's Social Skills group members are winners!!

The Young Boys social skills group created an ”Unthinkable®” character named “Boastful Bore” as part of a national contest held by Michelle Garcia-Winner, author of the “Superflex®” curriculum. Winner’s contest gave students and professionals across the nation an opportunity to create their own “Thinkable/Unthinkable®” character for her next “Superflex®” book. For more info. Click here
